Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Silver Temple a religion?

No. The Silver Temple is an initiatory tradition. It welcomes sincere seekers from many religious backgrounds while encouraging each initiate to remain faithful to their own conscience.

Do I need prior experience?

No. The curriculum begins with the foundations and assumes no previous training.

Is this an online course?

No. While some meetings may occur remotely, the Silver Temple is fundamentally a mentor-guided apprenticeship rather than a self-paced educational program.

Are the rituals public?

No. Certain teachings and ritual practices are reserved for initiates as part of the traditional initiatory process.

How often do mentors and initiates meet?

Twice during every lunar month, following the rhythm of the New Moon.

Is there a fee?

The Temple may charge reasonable fees for printed materials, facilities, or administrative costs. Mentorship itself is never bought or sold. No mentor receives payment for guiding an initiate.

Is there a physical Temple?

The Silver Temple is first a living tradition rather than a building. The true temple is ultimately formed within the practitioner.

What is expected of an initiate?

Sincerity, discipline, humility, consistent effort, and a genuine desire for personal transformation.

What items will I need?

Very little at first. The instruments of the Work are few, simple, and gathered gradually under a mentor's guidance. A list is provided on the Recommended Items page.

Who should apply?

Those who seek more than information. Those who are willing to undertake patient, disciplined work in pursuit of wisdom, beauty, and strength.
